We think it would be clear to anyone who’s had interaction with us that we absolutely love Andorra – it’s a ‘home away from home’ for us that not only offers some varied and fantastic skiing opportunities but also offers great value for money; a welcoming, friendly atmosphere; a great variety of accommodation and plenty of bars and restaurants to entertain yourself after your day on the mountain has finished… but that’s just our opinion (and we admit be may be a tiny bit biased).

Grandvalira Grows!

This winter sees the largest skiable domain in the Pyrenees grow even larger, with the addition of a new sector linked into the Grandvalira ski area. The Peretol freestyle park has been a haven for thrill seekers for a number of years, especially under the floodlights, however with a new chairlift and two slopes created, the Peretol sector is the latest addition to Grandvalira. After a period of much uncertainty it has been announced today that the Grandvalira brand and ski area will continue indefinitely, which is fantastic news for visitors to Andorra.  Not only that, but the area covered by the Grandvalira lift pass is expanding to also cover Arcalis.  This means the linked ski area of Grandvalira will still be 210km but with the addition of Arcalis it becomes 240km of slopes covered by the pass.
