After spending numerous winters living in Andorra, I’m now based at the Andorra Resorts office in Cardiff, however at the end of November I needed to make a trip out to Andorra to spend the week visiting our resort staff and partners, and spend the week working from our office in Arinsal. Obviously it was more of a challenge to make the journey this year, so I wanted to share a blog explaining what I needed to do and how I did it.

When you think of package holidays to Andorra, many people immediately think of seven nights, departing on a Sunday, with your flights, transfers and accommodation included, along with a rep and a welcome meeting. Actually a package holiday just means that you’re booking several travel services, such as travel and accommodation, at the same time for an inclusive price – it’s doesn’t have to be for a week, it doesn’t have to mean shared transfers and waiting for other flights to land, and it doesn’t mean you need to go to a welcome meeting!

We think it would be clear to anyone who’s had interaction with us that we absolutely love Andorra – it’s a ‘home away from home’ for us that not only offers some varied and fantastic skiing opportunities but also offers great value for money; a welcoming, friendly atmosphere; a great variety of accommodation and plenty of bars and restaurants to entertain yourself after your day on the mountain has finished… but that’s just our opinion (and we admit be may be a tiny bit biased).
