If you’re looking for hotels you can find our best hotels in Andorra here, however for self-catering apartments please read on, in no particular order…
La Pleta Apartments, Soldeu
Situated just on the edge of Soldeu around 500 metres from the gondola, these modern apartments have everything you need for a great self-catering holiday. There are actually several blocks of apartments within the La Pleta complex, managed by different agencies, so each come with slightly different check-in processes as well as some different services included. We recommend looking for the main “La Pleta de Soldeu Apartments”, which we have linked below, because they have an office on-site (which is great for key collection) and they also have a minibus to drop you off at the gondola. Look out for the upgrade to mountain view apartments, as it’s worth the extra, looking across the valley to see the “X” of Grandvalira!
Sant Moritz Apartments, Arinsal
Occupying a great location just 100 metres from the Arinsal gondola, Apartments Sant Moritz offer everything you need for your ski holidays all in one place. The apartments are well-equipped, plus you have a supermarket on-site, as well as a sports bar called Hunters which serves excellent food. You also have a ski hire shop in the same building, and there’s a super Irish Bar just opposite, so you never need to travel far to get to what you need.
Pierre & Vacances Alaska, Pas de la Casa
With studios for three and four guests, as well as one-bedroom apartments, Apartments Alaska in Pas de la Casa offer good value for money, close to the centre of town, with some great extra touches such as a hot tub, sauna and Turkish bath, plus a games room and kids play area. It’s only 350 metres from the slopes, and just a short walk from the lively bars and apres ski, so it’s a great location to enjoy a ski holiday in Pas de la Casa.
Residence Andorra, El Tarter
Located just across the road from the ski slopes, Pierre & Vacances Residence Andorra in El Tarter has a choice of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments sleeping up to eight guests. The apartments are very good quality, well equipped, and most of them have a balcony overlooking the slopes. El Tarter is a lot quieter than neighbouring Soldeu, so staying here is generally quite a bit cheaper, so a good option if you’re looking to get the best value for money.
Ribasol Apartments, Arinsal
The Apartments Ribasol is a large complex of apartments towards the top of Arinsal, with an access from the top of the building less than 100 metres from the chairlift, and due to the way the building sits against the mountain it’s actually not too far to walk into the village either, although be warned, it’s a little bit of a maze to find your way through the building the first couple of times! There are a number of agencies managing studios and apartments in the building, so make sure you check and compare the facilities in each, however as the complex is very new, the apartments are modern and generally well furnished and equipped.
Mountain Hostel Tarter, El Tarter
A different concept to the rest of our choices for apartments, and technically these aren’t apartments, but it is self-catering, and we thought it was worth a mention. It’s a very stylish and modern hostel, which has dorm room as you would expect from a hostel, but it also has individual/couples rooms too, so you can have some privacy if you prefer. As well as the communal kitchen, they have a BBQ outside for when the weather is warm, plus an outdoor hot tub and terrace. If you’re looking for a social holiday, then this could be perfect for you.
Aparthotel Les Olimpiades, Pas de la Casa
With an enviable location directly on the slopes of Grandvalira Pas de la Casa, as well as only being a one-minute walk to the lively town centre, the Aparthotel Les Olimpiades offers stylish self-catering apartments. They also have a very popular bar/restaurant along with a great slope-side terrace, where they serve really good food from breakfast through to dinner.
Apartments Prat de Les Molleres, Soldeu
Found just at the edge of Soldeu, around 500 metres from the gondola, these bright and spacious apartments get great reviews. They are modern and well equipped, and they offer free private parking, plus the duplex apartments come with a balcony offering beautiful mountain views.
Aparthotel Patagonia, Arinsal
If you’re looking for all the benefits of staying in a good quality 4* hotel, combined with all the benefits of self-catering, then staying at Aparthotel Patagonia in Arinsal is the perfect place, plus it’s only 100 metres to the chairlift. Whilst the hotel rooms have a kitchenette, you can also book one-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, with the option of self-catering, B&B, or even half board. The facilities include a hot tub, sauna, and fitness room, as well as a very cosy lounge bar with an open fire.
Pierre & Vacances Princesa, Pas de la Casa
With ski-in-ski-out access, the Princesa Apartments are located at the top of Pas de la Casa, offering a range of studios as well as one and two-bedroom apartments. It’s a bit of a walk to the town, but if you’re visiting for the skiing then being able to head straight out onto the slopes makes things so much easier. As you’d expect from Pierre & Vacances, the accommodation is good quality, well equipped, and modern, everything you need for a great self-catering holiday!
