La Pleta outside

La Pleta Apartments, Soldeu

Situated just on the edge of Soldeu around 500 metres from the gondola, these modern apartments have everything you need for a great self-catering holiday. There are actually several blocks of apartments within the La Pleta complex, managed by different agencies, so each come with slightly different check-in processes as well as some different services included. We recommend looking for the main “La Pleta de Soldeu Apartments”, which we have linked below, because they have an office on-site (which is great for key collection) and they also have a minibus to drop you off at the gondola. Look out for the upgrade to mountain view apartments, as it’s worth the extra, looking across the valley to see the “X” of Grandvalira!

Occupying a great location just 100 metres from the Arinsal gondola, Apartments Sant Moritz offer everything you need for your ski holidays all in one place. The apartments are well-equipped, plus you have a supermarket on-site, as well as a sports bar called Hunters which serves excellent food. Pierre & Vacances Andorra El Tarter

Residence Andorra, El Tarter

Located just across the road from the ski slopes, Pierre & Vacances Residence Andorra in El Tarter has a choice of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments sleeping up to eight guests. The apartments are very good quality, well equipped, and most of them have a balcony overlooking the slopes. El Tarter is a lot quieter than neighbouring Soldeu, so staying here is generally quite a bit cheaper, so a good option if you’re looking to get the best value for money.

Ribasol Apartments Arinsal

Ribasol Apartments, Arinsal

The Apartments Ribasol is a large complex of apartments towards the top of Arinsal, with an access from the top of the building less than 100 metres from the chairlift, and due to the way the building sits against the mountain it’s actually not too far to walk into the village either, although be warned, it’s a little bit of a maze to find your way through the building the first couple of times! There are a number of agencies managing studios and apartments in the building, so make sure you check and compare the facilities in each, however as the complex is very new, the apartments are modern and generally well furnished and equipped.

Mountain Hostel El Tarter

Mountain Hostel Tarter, El Tarter

A different concept to the rest of our choices for apartments, and technically these aren’t apartments, but it is self-catering, and we thought it was worth a mention. It’s a very stylish and modern hostel, which has dorm room as you would expect from a hostel, but it also has individual/couples rooms too, so you can have some privacy if you prefer. As well as the communal kitchen, they have a BBQ outside for when the weather is warm, plus an outdoor hot tub and terrace. If you’re looking for a social holiday, then this could be perfect for you.

They also have a very popular bar/restaurant along with a great slope-side terrace, where they serve really good food from breakfast through to dinner.
