So we’re a month into the 2015-16 season and Andorra has enjoyed some of the best skiing in Europe during December, currently with 220km of slopes open across Grandvalira and Vallnord.  The season got off to a superb start, with both areas opening as scheduled on 28th November with further snowfall in early December.

The technical teams have worked hard throughout the month to make sure as many slopes are open as possible, which has resulted in great feedback from customers such as “we were nervous before we got here but it’s great – they are doing a really good job” (26th December) and “We have had a great weeks skiing. Thank you Soldeu for great snow.” (25th December).

We’re now looking forward to seeing in the new year, and with the new year we hope new snow too.  The forecast is looking good with plenty of snow heading in our direction next week, plus Andorra is very well prepared for topping up snow levels having approximately 60% of slopes covered by snow cannons.
