Must Visit Restaurants & Bars For Your Next Andorra Ski Holiday

It is true that the main purpose for a ski holiday is, of course, to ski, but you will agree with me that après ski is almost as important as skiing, and a good dinner to recover after a long day on the mountain or a few beers with your friends to discuss the best fall of the day is essential in any ski holiday.

Andorra is a well-known destination for its fantastic range of bars and restaurants with reasonable prices and a super friendly atmosphere, so we want to give you a small guide to which restaurants you will not want to miss on your next holidays in Andorra.

Arinsal

If you are staying in the town of Arinsal and have spent the whole day skiing non-stop on the slopes of Pal-Arinsal, the best way to recharge your batteries will be with an Argentinian steak at Surf Restaurant, where they have the best meat in the area. Do not forget to ask for the chimichurri sauce that comes with it!

Another option to eat in Arinsal is Factory, which is located by the river at the center of the village. We love its cool decoration, but what we love even more is their 2 for 1 on pizzas every Thursday! They also offer take away orders if you want to enjoy your food at home.

But what about nightlife? Arinsal could seem like a small quiet town, but the truth is that when it gets dark the bars start filling with people and there is a place for everyone!

Derby Irish Bar, Arinsal

The Derby Irish Pub is a must on the après ski history of Arinsal. A typical pub, with pool, football table, TV screens so you do not miss any match, and the perfect environment for a few beers after skiing.

And if things get crazy and you want to have one more drink, Cisco’s is your place, just a short walk from Derby Irish Pub! The best bar to go dancing in Arinsal, it offers theme nights with DJs, and always good vibes, without a doubt a place where you will have a good time. But do not forget that the next day you have to go skiing!

Pas de la Casa

The largest town in the Grandvalira ski area, Pas de la Casa is full of lively bars, great restaurants, and a wide variety of shops.

We have recently visited Oh! Burger located just a few meters from the base of Pas de la Casa, and we were very pleased with what we found. They have their own wood pizza oven so you can imagine how yummy their pizzas are, and their burgers, as their name suggests, are delicious too! Friendly staff and good environment for a lunch break!

KSB stands for Kamikaze Surf Bar, here you will find a relaxed atmosphere similar to a chilled-out surf bar anywhere in the world. Their food is delicious, their specialty is their grilled meat, and they have a good selection of wines on the menu, a good place for a casual dinner with friends.

Everyone knows it, Pas de la Casa is known for its crazy nights, festivals, and party atmosphere. Without a doubt it is your place if you are one of those who enjoys holidays both day and night.

A good place to start the night is Paddy’s, an Irish bar where you will always find a lively atmosphere. Cheap drinks, pool table and always fun times in here!

Underground Bar opens for après ski too and it offers a great variety of music styles, from rock to electronic, hip hop, anything that will make you dance, or sing! It stays open until late at night, with resident DJ’s playing!

Soldeu

If you are staying in the small town of Soldeu, the atmosphere is much more relaxed than Pas de la Casa, but you also have good options to go out for après ski or have a good meal.

A place that will leave you amazed is the Hotel Naudí Restaurant, its exquisite cuisine, where they take care of even the smallest detail and its incredible views of the Grandvalira slopes, make it a perfect place for a special occasion. They have just renovated the building and their decoration offers a cozy feeling, so you will not never want to leave.

For Sunday Roast lovers, Fatty’s is back offering its typical Sunday menu based on two or three courses, a mythical Soldeu restaurant that turns into a bar in the late hours.

For the live music lovers, The Harp is a good option, with a very lively atmosphere and live music during the week. Its table football championships are undoubtedly a must in Soldeu.

On the other hand, Aspen is the place for the night owls, this two-floor night bar offers a wide variety of music, from reggaeton to electronic music and it is open until late at night, if you are looking for partying in Soldeu this is your place!

We hope you are not too tired after skiing all day and you have time to enjoy all the musts bars and restaurants of Andorra, because as we said, a ski holidays is not just about skiing!
