Book Early For 2022

Andorra Resorts team with skis

If you’ve missed out on your ski holiday to Andorra either last year or this winter, or perhaps even both, then you should definitely consider booking early for 2022 so you don’t miss out on the best deals and availability. Here are our top reasons why we think you should book early for 2022.

Bookings Transferred to 2022

Lots of bookings have been transferred to winter 2021-22, which means rather than just the normal number of early bookers looking for particular dates (usually New Year and February half term), this time around there’s a larger number of early bookings throughout the whole season as cancelled holidays from last year and this winter have already been confirmed for 2022.

Reduced Capacity With Tour Operators

If you usually book your holiday with the likes of Crystal, Inghams, or Neilson, then you will find that they have generally reduced their capacity, or reduced the number of holidays they have available to book. This means that your choices may be limited if you leave it to book later in the year.

Demand Wil Be High

If you think about how much you’ve missed the mountains during the Covid pandemic, then think that most skiers and snowboarders are in the same position. This means that when we’re all able to hit the slopes again there’s going to be high demand for ski holidays.

Spread The Cost

If you book early then you know your costs well in advance, which means you can budget accordingly, and spread the payments throughout the year. Both with Andorra Resorts and with our sister travel agency Destination Ski it’s no problem at all to spread the payments as you wish, with no extra cost.

When To Book?

So, the big question… when should you book your ski holidays to Andorra for 2022? Well, the answer to that question is “it depends”!

If you usually book with a tour operator such as Crystal or Inghams, then definitely consider booking now for next winter – our travel agency Destination Ski offers all the major UK ski tour operators and will compare the prices for you to make sure you get the best deal.

If you usually book independently, whether using all the Andorra Resorts booking services or elsewhere, then it’s well worth checking out the availability for flights and accommodation now, although availability is a little limited at the moment.

  • Flights – easyJet and Jet2 have pretty much the whole of next winter on sale already (until the end of March), and BA have flights available until the middle of January 2022. Ryanair and Vueling still aren’t online yet.
  • Accommodation – there are quite a few options available already, however we usually see the full range for the following winter online during the spring.
  • Transfers – airport transfers will hopefully be back to the normal timetables for next winter, and will be available for online booking in June at the latest. You can find more information here.
  • Ski Extras – again, these will be available to book from June onwards, however for updates when they’re online, along with early booking discounts, you can sign up here.
