Weekly snow reports
Every week throughout the season, we published fresh snow reports across all resort pages to keep you updated on conditions. These included dated photos and live videos, so you could see exactly what the mountain looked like before you arrived.

April deals
Our April weekend deals were a big hit, especially with last-minute bookers! Affordable packages, great snow, and a more relaxed vibe made spring skiing in Andorra the perfect choice. Take a look!

Gift vouchers
We saw lots of guests using our Andorra Resorts gift vouchers this season—often given as birthday or Christmas gifts. These can be redeemed when booking online before your trip, and they make a brilliant surprise for a loved one. Find out more…
For Andorra as a Whole!
Snow, Snow, and More Snow!
- The season kicked off with our first major snow dump on 8th December, turning the mountains into a winter wonderland.
- Another big snowfall hit during the first week of February, setting us up for epic conditions during the busiest part of the season.
- Fresh snow kept coming at the end of February and throughout March — it just kept getting better!
- And just when we thought it was over… mid-April has brought 15–20cm of fresh snow overnight, with even more expected over the season’s final! Spring skiing goals, achieved.

Improved bus systems across the resorts
Grandvalira upgraded its free ski bus service this winter, allowing customers to pre-book seats online. This meant smoother travel between the resorts, and better access to Ordino Arcalis sector for all. Here’s how the weekly schedule looked:
- Fridays: Free buses ran from Grandvalira (Pas de la Casa, Soldeu, El Tarter, and Encamp) to Arcalis.
- Thursdays: Guests in Arinsal and La Massana could also hop on a free bus to Arcalis.
- Wednesdays: A brand-new connection ran from Arinsal to Grandvalira (via the Funicamp gondola in Encamp), making it easier for Pal-Arinsal lift pass holders to enjoy their one free Grandvalira day (when booking for 4 days or more)!
We’re hoping this new level of accessibility continues to grow next season!

Year-round fun in Andorra La Vella
The capital city of Andorra continues to be a gem for ski holidaymakers. Just a short drive from all the major resorts, it offers Christmas and New Year parades, plenty of shopping opportunities, and Caldea—Southern Europe’s largest thermal spa. It’s ideal for a day off the slopes or for families wanting something a little different during their trip.

Resort-Specific Highlights for Winter 2024/25 Review:
Pal-Arinsal
Pal-Arinsal was buzzing from the very start of the season. Christmas and New Year’s parties brought festive cheer to the slopes, with Santa himself making appearances in both La Massana and Arinsal. Our discount voucher scheme was back again, with savings available across a range of local restaurants, bars, and ski shops. You can check out this season’s partners here!

March was particularly special for more advanced riders, with incredible off-piste conditions in La Capa area. Snow stayed deep and fresh, making for one of the best freeride months we’ve seen in recent years.

St Patrick’s Day, as always here in Andorra, was celebrated in style, with Irish flags flying high and parties happening throughout the resort. Arinsal’s strong Irish community meant live music and plenty of Guinness to go around.

DJs kept the vibe high throughout the season, with weekly sets at the Derby Deli up on the mountain and daily music at Surf bar near the gondola base. Other bars such as El Moli and Ciscos also have great apres-ski options (read more in our Pal-Arinsal guide linked above!). Live gigs popped up regularly, and we saw new nightlife emerge too—Victoria Hotel hosted its first electronic late night parties on select Saturday nights. Fingers crossed we see even more of those next winter!
Grandvalira

Grandvalira had a packed calendar of events this season. The festivities kicked off with Christmas and New Year celebrations across the resort. January brought a high-energy freestyle event to El Tarter Snow Park, drawing crowds and showcasing some serious talent. Night-skiing was also possible in Pas de la Casa sector, offering some great skiing after dark!

In early February, Soldeu and El Tarter hosted Europa Cup and World Cup competitions, once again proving why Grandvalira is a go-to for international racing events. Meanwhile, L’Abarset welcomed some huge names to its DJ booth—Fatboy Slim’s mid-February set was a particular highlight and one of the most memorable après parties of the year.

March kept the energy high with the Hibernation Festival in Pas de la Casa, blending music and mountain vibes for a weekend to remember. Just the week after, St Patrick’s Day brought even more celebration to Grandvalira, particularly in Soldeu and Pas de la Casa, where the strong Irish communities always make it a standout occasion. The Harp in Soldeu and Paddy’s Bar in Pas were buzzing with music, Guinness, and plenty of festive spirit. Whether you’re Irish or just enjoying the occasion, it’s a great time to be in resort. Why not plan your next Paddy’s Day in Andorra?

Après sessions continued into April, particularly at L’Abarset, Soul and Coll Blanc apres bars, and the season closed on a high with a pool party at Peretol Snow Park on Saturday 12th April—sunshine, snow, and swimsuits, all in one day!

Again, have a read of our Grandvalira Restaurant and bar guide linked above for more information on what El Tarter, Soldeu and Pas de la Casa have to offer during the season!
Arcalis
Arcalis once again cemented its reputation for consistently great snow conditions. Known for its natural snowfall and untouched freeride terrain, it delivered some of the most reliable skiing in Andorra all season long.

The highlight of the winter was the return of the Freeride World Tour in March. The competition brought world-class athletes and big mountain fans from across the globe. Beyond the action on the slopes, après events and DJ sets popped up on Saturdays, adding a fun and sociable vibe to this usually quieter resort.
Arcalis also became much more accessible this year thanks to the new weekly buses from both Arinsal and Grandvalira. With these additions, more skiers and boarders were able to explore the resort’s unique terrain, and we’re really hoping these connections continue to grow into next season.

Conclusion
Our End of Winter 2024/25 Review for Skiing in Andorra: Winter 2024/25 gave us everything we could have hoped for and more. With amazing snow, exciting events, improved transport links, and a growing community both on the mountain and online, it truly felt like a special year. Thanks to everyone who joined us, followed along, or booked with us—we loved being part of your season. Now the countdown is officially on for Winter 2025/26… and we can’t wait to do it all again!
