Covid-19 Testing in Andorra

Here is the latest information on Covid-19 testing in Andorra - we will continue to update this page as we learn new information.

If you need to take a Covid-19 test to return to your home country there are options available to bring a test kit with you to upload the result and get a certificate for travel, however depending on the type of test you require this might not always be an option for you.

If you need to take a Covid-19 test in Andorra for travelling home, please let the company who booked your holiday know and they will keep the authorities updated with the numbers of tests required.

Pas de la Casa

Medical Centre - For Travel

The medical centre in Pas de la Casa will be open for antigen testing for travel requirements every Saturday evening from 18:00-21:00.  The cost of this is €25, including a certificate to fly.

Medical Centre - For Skiing

If you need to take an antigen test to have Covid pass for skiing, the medical centre will be open for this daily from 09:00-11:00.  The cost of this is €25, including a certificate.

Stop Lab at the Sports Centre - For Bars, Restaurants & Skiing

This lab is offering both antigen tests and PCR tests and is open on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11:00 until 17:00.  No appointment is necessary.  Antigen tests cost €5 with results in 20 minutes, but are not currently verified for travel, and PCR tests cost €40 with results in 24-48 hours.

Soldeu & El Tarter

Medical Centre - For Travel

The medical centres in Soldeu and El Tarter will be open for antigen testing for travel requirements daily from 09:00-11:00, plus every Saturday evening from 18:00-21:00.  The cost of this is €25, including a certificate to fly.

Medical Centre - For Skiing

If you need to take an antigen test to have Covid pass for skiing, the medical centres will be open for this daily from 09:00-11:00.  The cost of this is €25, including a certificate.

Arinsal

Medical Centre

The medical centre in Arinsal will be open for antigen testing, including for travel requirements, daily from 16:00-17:30.  The cost of this is €25, including a certificate for travel, with results in 20-25 minutes.

Centre d’Interpretació del Comapedrosa

The large building next to Hotel Montane (village hall) will be open for antigen testing, including for travel requirements, on Friday & Saturday evenings from 18:00-21:00.  The cost of this is €25, including a certificate for travel, with results in 20-25 minutes.

La Massana

Farmacia Genciana

In La Massana you need to phone Farmacia Genciana to make an appointment for an antigen test.  Their number is +376 838166.  They are located in the centre of La Massana.

Andorra la Vella

If you need a PCR test to travel home you can get one in Andorra la Vella at one of the government-run Stop Labs by calling to make an appointment on +376 821955.

STOPLAB Andorra (Plaça de braus)

Open daily from 08:30 to 18:30, also open 25/12 and 01/01 from 09:00 to 14:00.

STOPLAB Escaldes (Pavelló Prat Gran)

Open weekdays only from 08:30 to 18:30.

 What Happens If Your Test Is Positive?

If you return a positive test you will be advised to return to your accommodation, where you must advise the accommodation owner/manager, and also call 116 to advise the Covid Department of Andorra.

The accommodation manager and the Covid Department of Andorra will manage the response and provide the advice to what you must do and where you must go.

You would also need to advise your travel insurance to discuss making a claim for additional costs involved, which means it is vital you have adequate travel insurance for your trip.
