Christmas be invited to a brand-new experience held in Andorra La Vella.
CuriosiTours Andorra have over 10 years of knowledge and you could tell our host Abi was passionate and familiar with the capital. She was bubbling over with interesting facts about this beautiful city and it was great to be in her company.
The new year is already in full flow and we can’t believe where the time has gone! Our team have been living in our resorts since the end of November so there’s been plenty of time to settle in and find their way around their beautiful new homes.

As we enter the last few days of 2019 it’s a great time to reflect on all the fantastic things that have happened over the last 10 years. We’ve seen a continual investment in not only the ski areas in Andorra, but the services and facilities as well. Christmas in Andorra is such a magical time. With so much snow already in the villages all over this beautiful country, we are really feeling in the festive spirit. There’s nothing that makes you feel more magical than looking out of your window to see your very own Christmas card scenes! On Monday 22nd April we’ll be hitting the slopes for the last time this season. After that, we’ll sadly have a long, agonising wait until Grandvalira reopens in December. Here is a round up of the 2018/19 season and all the fantastic events that took place.
Skiing is a beautiful sport, suitable for everyone. Its always fun to get yourself on the mountain and be surrounded by nature whether you are with your family, with friends or even by yourself. However, as an extreme sport, it entails some risk as well, that’s why it is very important to be careful at all times and respect the other skiers on the mountain. There are 10 golden rules that we must all know, and above all respect so that a snow day can be both safe and fun!
No matter what level you’re at, taking skiing or snowboarding lessons will always be a valuable experience. Following on from our excellent news in the Autumn that Grandvalira will be continuing to operate as one linked ski resort indefinitely, the next stage of their plans are being put into motion by integrating Ordino-Arcalis, step by step, into the Grandvalira domain. The first stage of the integration will be adding the 30km of Ordino-Arcalis slopes to certain Grandvalira lift passes booked from 1st February onwards.
