Is it your first time in Pal Arinsal? For those who are new in this Vallnord ski resort it is important to know that it is formed by two different areas, Pal and Arinsal, both included under the same ski pass and connected by the mountain via cable car but also by road thanks to the Vallnord Free Bus service.

Sunday (17th March) the FIS World Cup Finals came to a close in Grandvalira after an exciting week which attracted around 25,000 spectators in total. This was the first time Andorra has hosted this prestigious event, which is considered by many to be the most important competition on the pro-ski tour after the Olympic Games and World Championships.
Are you coming to ski in Arinsal? Is it your first ski holiday? Well, the first thing we want to clarify is that you must know that skiing is not all about skiing. Skiing is a beautiful sport, suitable for everyone. Its always fun to get yourself on the mountain and be surrounded by nature whether you are with your family, with friends or even by yourself. However, as an extreme sport, it entails some risk as well, that’s why it is very important to be careful at all times and respect the other skiers on the mountain. If you’ve been on a ski holiday before, you’ll know that apres-ski is a huge part of the ski-resort culture and is often one of the most memorable parts of your trip, that is – if you can still remember it the next morning! Apres-ski literally means ‘after-ski’ and is used to describe the time spent socialising in bars and restaurants after a fun day on the mountain. Following on from our excellent news in the Autumn that Grandvalira will be continuing to operate as one linked ski resort indefinitely, the next stage of their plans are being put into motion by integrating Ordino-Arcalis, step by step, into the Grandvalira domain. The first stage of the integration will be adding the 30km of Ordino-Arcalis slopes to certain Grandvalira lift passes booked from 1st February onwards.
