CuriosiTours Andorra have over 10 years of knowledge and you could tell our host Abi was passionate and familiar with the capital. She was bubbling over with interesting facts about this beautiful city and it was great to be in her company.
In a short break from ski-related news, time for something you
don’t normally associate with Andorra – football. FC Andorra, recently purchased by Barcelona
(and former Manchester United) defender Gerard Pique, have been successfully ‘promoted’
to the third tier of Spanish football.

On Monday 22nd April we’ll be hitting the slopes for the last time this season. After that, we’ll sadly have a long, agonising wait until Grandvalira reopens in December. Here is a round up of the 2018/19 season and all the fantastic events that took place.
Is it your first time in Pal Arinsal? For those who are new in this Vallnord ski resort it is important to know that it is formed by two different areas, Pal and Arinsal, both included under the same ski pass and connected by the mountain via cable car but also by road thanks to the Vallnord Free Bus service.
Sunday (17th March) the FIS World Cup Finals came to a close in Grandvalira after an exciting week which attracted around 25,000 spectators in total. This was the first time Andorra has hosted this prestigious event, which is considered by many to be the most important competition on the pro-ski tour after the Olympic Games and World Championships.

Skiing is a beautiful sport, suitable for everyone. Its always fun to get yourself on the mountain and be surrounded by nature whether you are with your family, with friends or even by yourself. However, as an extreme sport, it entails some risk as well, that’s why it is very important to be careful at all times and respect the other skiers on the mountain.
