The new year is already in full flow and we can’t believe where the time has gone! Our team have been living in our resorts since the end of November so there’s been plenty of time to settle in and find their way around their beautiful new homes.

Decade in Review

Grandvalira Grows!

This winter sees the largest skiable domain in the Pyrenees grow even larger, with the addition of a new sector linked into the Grandvalira ski area. The Peretol freestyle park has been a haven for thrill seekers for a number of years, especially under the floodlights, however with a new chairlift and two slopes created, the Peretol sector is the latest addition to Grandvalira. Coats For Cardiff Launches

This Autumn the team behind Andorra Resorts and Destination Ski team, alongside the help of local businesses, are launching Coats For Cardiff – a scheme asking local people to donate unwanted ski jackets so that they can then be distributed amongst the rough sleeping population of Cardiff.

A Look Back At The FIS World Cup Finals 2019

Sunday (17th March) the FIS World Cup Finals came to a close in Grandvalira after an exciting week which attracted around 25,000 spectators in total. This was the first time Andorra has hosted this prestigious event, which is considered by many to be the most important competition on the pro-ski tour after the Olympic Games and World Championships.

FIS Rules: The 10 Commandments Of Snow

Skiing is a beautiful sport, suitable for everyone. Its always fun to get yourself on the mountain and be surrounded by nature whether you are with your family, with friends or even by yourself. However, as an extreme sport, it entails some risk as well, that’s why it is very important to be careful at all times and respect the other skiers on the mountain. There are 10 golden rules that we must all know, and above all respect so that a snow day can be both safe and fun!
