Exciting Changes in Grandvalira

Following on from our excellent news in the Autumn that Grandvalira will be continuing to operate as one linked ski resort indefinitely, the next stage of their plans are being put into motion by integrating Ordino-Arcalis, step by step, into the Grandvalira domain.  The first stage of the integration will be adding the 30km of Ordino-Arcalis slopes to certain Grandvalira lift passes booked from 1st February onwards.  We’ve answered some frequently asked questions here. Nowadays we are fully connected and there is hardly a second that we are separated from our phones, not even when sleeping. Therefore, when we head to the mountain, apart from taking our goggles, gloves and helmet, there is a must, the mobile phone! It could be uncomfortable, but everyone is skiing with their phone in their pocket, either for security reasons, to contact friends or just to take a snowy selfie. Technology is a major part of our lives, but without a doubt, the mobile is the winner, that’s why apps have been gaining importance day by day (supposedly) making life easier.

Grandvalira Continues

After a period of much uncertainty it has been announced today that the Grandvalira brand and ski area will continue indefinitely, which is fantastic news for visitors to Andorra.  Not only that, but the area covered by the Grandvalira lift pass is expanding to also cover Arcalis.  This means the linked ski area of Grandvalira will still be 210km but with the addition of Arcalis it becomes 240km of slopes covered by the pass.
